Howard Blumenthal

Biography

Howard Blumenthal has been a licensed attorney in California for over 22 years. His practice has focussed primarily on personal injury civil litigation. Prior to becoming an attorney, Howard was employed by a major insurance company as an insurance adjuster and worked for a law firm in Beverly Hills as a case manager giving him extensive experience in evaluating and resolving personal injury claims. In addition, early in his career he worked for an insurance defense firm for one year which gave him additional insight into how personal injury claims are evaluated by opposing counsel. Howard has worked closely with Steve Barnes for years at both the law offices of Cellino & Barnes and at The Barnes Firm. He has resolved over 110 million dollars in personal injury claims in his career and almost 5000 cases.

Howard has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UCLA and has his Juris Doctor from UWLA. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. He has been a voluntary settlement conference officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court, has worked as a settlement officer for the CRASH program at the Glendale courthouse, is a mandatory settlement officer for CAALA and has been a Judge Pro Temp for traffic court handling arraignments and traffic court trials. He is a past president of the Antelope Valley Bar Association and is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.

Howard has both jury trial and bench trial experience. He is married, has three children and resides in Valencia.
