Biography
Jake Otis is a trial attorney with The Barnes Firm. Jake believes in putting his clients’ interests first, and he is dedicated to ensuring that his clients are fairly compensated for their injuries.
In a perfect world, there are no accidents. In our not-so-perfect world, having our team in your corner in the event of an accident is essential. Throughout my time in Law School, I worked in Personal Injury fighting for individuals and families injured by the negligence of another. Personal Injury is what I know what I have always done. For me, preparation and hard work is everything—that is why I understand that when a serious personal injury changes your life, you need the help of a proven, prepared, and hard-working attorney.
Jake is the first lawyer in his family. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association and he plays in the Queens County Softball League. Jake received his law degree from St. John’s University, and he received his undergraduate degree from New York University.
