Get To Know New York City Injury Attorney Chris Trochiano

I grew up in Brooklyn with no shortage of bullies as a kid, so settling arguments has always been a part of my life. However, serving others has always been important to me as well, and as such, I was an altar server in church and was also an active member of the Boy Scouts of America.

As a young adult, I pursued competitive bodybuilding while completing my English degree summa cum laude and earning the title of “Mr. Rutgers University” from my alma mater in 1990. I leaned into the self-discipline and control I learned as an undergrad to excel at the New York University School of Law, where I went on to complete my J.D. a few years later.

The cases that I have worked on during my time with Cellino & Barnes, and now with The Barnes Firm, have turned into permanent changes that not only helps my clients, but reduces the likelihood for future accidents as well. In a products liability case, involving a bakery worker that nearly lost her hand in a faulty dough-mixing machine, I forced major manufacturers to rethink their safety designs. The same applies for another case regarding a logger who lost his thumb while using a faulty log-splitter.

In addition to my legal career, I am also an entrepreneur! I am a residential home builder and own and operate two children’s party gyms in the New Jersey area.
