The foundation for my career as a personal injury attorney began in 1977, when I completed undergrad at Canisius College in Buffalo as a member of the College Honors Program before pursuing a graduate degree shortly afterwards. After completing my J.D. at the University of Detroit in 1981, I started out as a trial attorney, eventually working my way up to the status of a senior representative for a Fortune 500 property and casualty insurance company.
My years of witnessing the inner workings of the insurance industry and their process for resolving liability claims eventually led me to Cellino & Barnes. After years of representing corporate interests, I figured my understanding of their perspective could be crucial in helping personal injury victims achieve justice, settlements, and favorable verdicts. Given my industry insight for case evaluation and preparation, as well as my experience interfacing with insurance company representatives directly, Cellino & Barnes was a match made in heaven.
Today, my work in the personal injury field continues with The Barnes Firm, and I am more than grateful to work alongside a team that shares the same commitment to accident victims’ rights as myself. I am also proud to have earned recognition from peer-reviewed legal publications such as Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and have also achieved life membership with the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
