My story begins in the Midwest where I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Shortly after graduating, I moved a few hours south to Chicago and completed my J.D. at DePaul University College of Law. However, rather than launch my career as an attorney in Illinois, I moved east to New York, passed the Bar, and joined the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
I have prosecuted cases for clients in all five boroughs of New York City while working at Cellino & Barnes and continue to do so now at The Barnes Firm. I have successfully argued cases all the way up to the New York Appellate Courts and prepare for every case as though it was being argued in front of a jury. I am committed to achieving the best result possible for my clients and strive to keep each client informed of the legal process as their case takes shape.
Outside of law, I enjoy many outdoor hobbies such as running, cycling, hiking, and I also love to travel. Additionally, I am an active volunteer with various animal rescue organizations throughout New York City.
