Emergency Room Errors
There are rules and procedures all healthcare professionals must follow, and a standard of care every patient is entitled to. If a doctor, surgeon or other hospital staffer is careless, or they don’t have the right skills, a patient can be seriously injured or killed.
This is an example of medical malpractice.
Unfortunately, medical errors are common in hospital emergency rooms. In many cases, hospital ERs are understaffed, and employees are working 13 hours or more each day.
