The Barnes Firm Announces $5,000 Donation At 59th Variety Kids Telethon

The charity started in 1934 with the goal of helping to transform, uplift, and enrich the lives of children living with illness, disability, or other disadvantage. The first ever telethon raised over $80,000, which helped build a rehabilitation center for children with special needs in Buffalo & Western New York. Since that first telethon, Variety has raised millions of dollars for area children’s charities.

The Barnes Firm is proud to continue its support by providing a $5,000 charitable donation to Variety – The Children’s Charity of Buffalo & Western New York.

“Helping those in need is what we do at The Barnes Firm, and it’s part of our culture,” President Rich Barnes said. “We’re proud to continue my brother’s commitment to helping others in the local community.”
